Design 1900 - Now - V&A’s 20th century galleries

The 20th-21st century galleries connects three once discordant spaces into one harmonious gallery to display the V&A’s collection of contemporary art and design. A new modular and rapid prototyped display system offers the curatorial team a live and working gallery space and aesthetic. The gallerie’s furniture utilises the same CNC detailing and can be rearranged by visitors and school groups. Refurbished lighting, showcases and new interpretation reinvigorate the space and provide a home for a world class collection.
