The British Library Trolley (BLT) was designed, fabricated, and delivered for the British Library and the Living Knowledge Network, with accessibility at the heart of every detail. The studio and workshop produced 33 mobile units for nationwide exhibitions. Each features custom 3D-printed touch tiles and tactile edges to guide visitors around active areas, paired with NaviLens markers for high-precision spatial guidance and future audio descriptions.

Built from blue and white Valchromat, the material scheme offers long-term durability while maximising visual contrast and aligning with guide dogs’ colour spectrum. Pop-up tables and pegboards create adaptable surfaces for tactile artefacts that trigger interactive audio.
